Aleppo towels are woven on wooden handlooms in the ancient city of Antakya, Turkey.
In one of Turkey's few remaining authentic handweaving ateliers, a family of master weavers continue to cultivate their centuries-old tradition.
Absorbent enough for use as a bath towel, the Aleppo is also lightweight and quick-drying, making it a perfect beach towel.
