Aphrodite is the Greek goddess of love, beauty, pleasure, and fertility. Her Roman equivalent is the goddess Venus.
According to Greek mythology, Aphrodite was born in Cyprus and was the daughter of Zeus and Dione. She rose from the sea’s foam on the shore of Paphos, a location of unique beauty, known today as Petra tou Romiou (Rock of the Greek).
Each pendant is handcrafted by two brothers, George and Panagiotis, in the picturesque village of Lefkara, in a workshop they have been running since 1968.
