Description

The name ‘Yolanda’ comes from Greek and means violet which is present in the Yolanda Necklace’s many fine Tanzanite stones in purple-blue shades. The Tanzanite is a stone of warmth, intuition, and calmness and is here companied by small, hammered elements.

The necklace is part of Maanesten’s A/W 23 collection, Moon Hunter, a tribute to the Greek goddess Artemis. In Greek mythology, Artemis was the goddess of hunting, protector of the forests and mountains, connected to the moon, music, and the wildness of nature. She protected young women and those in labor and remained free and independent on her own path in life.

Moon Hunter interprets this legendary feminist figure as a modern Artemis, a modern-day goddess who follows her own rules, lives her truth, and explores the adventures that arise along the way. A powerful dreamer with a free heart. A queen of the night dancing in the neon light.
